The Detail Committee is a mobile auto detailing company in South Florida. We bring detailing to your driveway or parking spot: foam pre-wash, hand wash, interior steam cleaning and machine paint correction. Ceramic coatings are the exception. They're applied indoors at our shop, where the coating can cure properly. We cover Coral Springs, Parkland, Coconut Creek, Margate, Deerfield Beach, Lighthouse Point and Boca Raton.

Machine polishing that removes swirl marks, wash-induced scratches, water-spot etching and haze, so the paint reflects instead of scatters.

Ceramic Coatings

A hard, glossy layer bonded to your clear coat. Water beads off, and bugs and bird droppings release instead of etching. Applied indoors at our shop, not in a driveway, so it cures clean. Polish prep is always included.

The same order of operations on every car, so nothing gets skipped. This is what a visit looks like.

  1. Walk-around & inspection

    We look the car over with you or on our own and note swirls, scratches, stains and anything fragile, so the plan matches the car.

  2. Foam pre-wash

    Thick foam soaks and lifts grit before anything touches the paint. This is where most wash scratches are prevented.

  3. Hand wash, wheels & glass

    A careful contact wash panel by panel, with wheels, tires, wells and glass done separately.

  4. Interior reset & steam

    Full vacuum, then steam on seats, vents, cupholders and door pockets. It lifts grime and freshens the cabin without harsh chemicals.

  5. Correct & protect

    Depending on your service, sealant or machine polishing, applied panel by panel and checked under light. Ceramic coatings get this step indoors at our shop.

    One last pass in daylight, then photos and a heads-up that the car is ready. Nothing is called done until it passes.

Year-round sun fades clear coat, dries trim and bakes dashboards. Hot panels also make water spots set faster.

Every May and September, lovebugs splatter front ends. Left in the sun, their acidic remains can etch the clear coat.

What areas does The Detail Committee serve?

We're a mobile detailer covering Coral Springs up to Boca Raton, Florida, including Parkland, Coconut Creek, Margate, Deerfield Beach and Lighthouse Point. Nearby addresses outside that corridor can ask, and we'll confirm before booking.

Do I need to be home during a mobile detail?

No. As long as the vehicle is accessible and unlocked (or keys are left in a safe spot for interior work), you can be at work or inside. We send a message when we arrive and when the car is finished.

How much does a mobile detail cost?

A Maintenance Wash is $90. The Standard Detail starts at $180 for sedans, $200 for mid-size SUVs and $270 for full-size vehicles. The Luxury Package adds a paint enhancement with a 6-month protection sealant, carpet shampoo, leather seat conditioning, steam cleaning, and dressing and protecting the full interior. It is quoted per vehicle.

How long does a full mobile detail take?

A Standard Detail on a sedan takes about 3 to 4 hours. The Luxury Package, with paint enhancement, sealant, shampoo, steam and leather conditioning, takes most of a day. Larger vehicles and heavily soiled interiors take longer.

What is paint correction, and do I need it?

Paint correction is machine polishing that levels the clear coat to remove swirl marks, light scratches, water-spot etching and haze. If your paint looks like a spiderweb in direct sun, a one-step enhancement handles most of it. Deeper defects need a two-step correction.

Can a ceramic coating be applied at my house?

No. Ceramic coatings are the one service we don't do mobile. They're applied indoors at our shop, because a coating needs a clean, dry, covered space to bond and cure, and sun, wind, dust and Florida rain ruin it outdoors. You drop the car off, and we send the shop address and drop-off time when we confirm. Coatings are quoted per vehicle.

How long does a ceramic coating last in South Florida?

We offer 2-year and 5-year coatings, applied indoors at our shop. Real-world life depends on how the car is washed and parked. Florida UV, lovebugs and sprinkler water are tough on paint, so every coating includes polish prep and a written aftercare guide.

Can you detail my car at a condo, apartment or office?

Yes, with the property's permission. Choose your parking situation in the booking wizard and note any building or HOA rules so we can plan around them.

Do you need my water and power?

Tell us in the booking wizard whether an outdoor spigot and outlet are available. If they aren't, say so, and we'll confirm how we'll handle your address before the appointment.

What is auto restyling?

Cosmetic work that changes how a car looks: chrome delete, blacked-out trim, de-badging and accent wraps. It's quoted per vehicle from a few photos.

What if it rains on my appointment?

South Florida storms usually pass fast. If weather makes the work unsafe or pointless, we reschedule at no charge.

How do I book?
